Just a quick bit - Display fonts have been tweaked in differing ways to look their best at larger sizes (above 36 pts usually.) Book fonts are designed to maximize legibility for a large block of text. www.dafont.com/mix of freeware, shareware and for sale I have used this one a lot in the past. Almost always found something useful there. It has a nice feature where you can type in a phrase and see the phrase displayed in the different fonts before you download anything. Just be sure to check the status of the font. Not all of them are licensed for commercial use. www.fontsquirrel.com/freeware fonts I'm not as familiar with this one having just run across it today, but it seems to have a good selection and they carry only free fonts. www.paper-leaf.com/blog/2009/10/10-free-amazing-display-fonts/This is a blog post listing 10 free display fonts. Not as wide a variety as the previous two suggestions but all of the fonts they list are beautiful. www.alvit.de/blog/article/20-best-license-free-official-fontsAnother blog post listing 25 free fonts. There are some real gems on this page for both book and display fonts. Chime in on any font sites that you would recomend and we'll add them to the list.
